Lady Tiger 2019 Summer

Strength, Conditioning and Sport Specific Skill Work

When:

Workouts will begin on Monday, June 3rd at 8:00 am. They will continue weekly Monday through Thursday until June 27th.

        Week 1        June   3, 4, 5, 6

        Week 2        June   10, 11, 12, 13

        Week 3        June   17, 18, 19, 20

        Week 4       June   24, 25, 26, 27

What:

Strength and conditioning workouts.

Sports specific workouts (Volleyball & Basketball)

Open Gym opportunities.

Organization of workouts:

Monday and Tuesday 8:00 – 9:00 Jr. High will be in the Weight Room High School will be in the Gym

9:00 – 10:00  High School will be in the Weight Room Jr. High will be in the Gym Wednesday and Thursday

8:00 – 9:00 All Students will be in the Weight Room

9:00 – 10:00  Open Gym

Monday – Everyone that plays volleyball will be in the gym with the volleyball coaches for the one hour of gym time.  The basketball players that do not play volleyball will be in a gym with the basketball coaches.

Tuesday – Everyone that plays basketball will be in the gym with the basketball coaches for the one hour of gym time.  The volleyball players that do not play basketball will be in the gym with the volleyball coaches.

Wednesday and Thursday - The gym will be open for the students to play either volleyball or basketball on their own.

Where:  We will meet every day in the new gym.

We as coaches feel that this program is extremely important for our program to reach the high expectations that we have set for the 2019-2020 school year for the Lady Tigers.  We understand that there will be times when you are out of town for vacation, church camp, sports camps and other activities. We encourage you to take part in these things and enjoy your summer.  What we ask of you is that when you are in town to attend these workouts. This will help make 2019-2020 the best year ever for the Mt. Vernon Lady Tigers.
